Online applications are invited from fresher candidates residingn Tripura for admission to regular mode B.Ed. (Two Year) programme CTE (College of Teacher Education, Kumarghat, Unakoti, Tripura) for the academic session 2020-2021.
Date of online form fill-up:- 18/03/2020 to 08/04/2020 (Within 11:59 pm)
Date of hard copy submission to CTE, Kumarghat:- 18/03/2020 to 09/04/2020 (12 noon to 3 pm)
Educational Qualification:-
1. The minimum eligibility norm for applying to B.Ed. Course is 50% marks in aggregate in Graduation (including both pass and honours subjccts)/Post Graduation degrees. (5% relaxation for ST, SC & PH Candidates)
a) Candidaies with at least fifty 50% marks either in the Bachelor's Degree and/or in the Master Degree in Scicnce/Social Sciences/Humanity, Bachclor's in Engineering or Teaching with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thercto, are eligible for admission to the programme.
b) The reservation and relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central Government/State Govcrnmcnt, whichcver is applicable.
Please read carefuly the following instruction bofore fillng In the application forms:
1. Recent passport sized photo and candidatc's signature should be upload at the time of filling up the form.
2. The candidates are to submit a set of self attested copies of the all the mark sheets (both side of all
markshects) and othcr relevant certificates to the college, failure to which will result in the cancellation of the candidature.
3. Downloaded Application Form should be submitted to the college along with all other relevant
documents within the stipulated time given for admission form fill up and form submission.
Folowing documents have to be attached with the application form along with self-attestation at the time of submission of documents:
a)Downloaded Application Form.
b) Photocopy of both side of all mark shets . (of all semesters/ years) (self attested)
c) Honours candidates shall submit photocopies of marks sheets (both side of the mark sheet) for
the whole course (all the years including the pass part of the course) and not only Honours marks
sheet. (self attested)
d) Madhyamik Admit Card/Certificate for verification of age. (self attested)
e) Photocopy of PRC/PRTC from DM/ADM/SDM is mandatory. (self attested)
f) Candidates who are not in possession of the same as (d) shall have to attach an undertaking to
the effect that they will submit the same if called for admission. Otherwise his/her application
will be stand cancelled.
g) Candidates of ST, SC, PH, ESM caterories and ARP aramilitaries shall submit valid certifieates
in respect of their claims for reservation. (self attested)
4. Admission shall be made as per 100 point roster of the State Government.
5. The admission shall be made on the basis of merit/index prepared out of marks obtained from
Madhyamik onwards. The merit shall be prepared both stream-wise (Science/Arts/Commerce) and
category wise (ST/SC/IURPH/ESM)
N.B.:- While calculating the percentage, the figures will not be rounded off to the next whole number.The percentage shall be calculated up to 2 decimal places. The second decimal place shall not be rounded off in consideration to the third decimal place.
